The Power Armor Prodigy
May 22, 2020

Clear the runway on your Helicarrier because the Power Armor team’s newest member is coming in for a landing. But this Blaster isn’t the only reinforcement heading your way; read on for our featured Blitz characters and this week’s Power Up event. First up, it’s time to meet the new wunderkind on the block.

If you think the Power Armor team already packs a punch, wait’ll you see them in action with Ironheart, their newest member. A teenage genius, Riri Williams reverse-engineered an outdated version of Iron Man's suit of armor and built her own suit using materials from her university. After Riri successfully foiled a prison escape in her suit, Iron Man took Riri under his wing and she became the superhero Ironheart.

Ironheart joins the Power Armor team as a Blaster and makes for a more potent fifth member of the team compared to other characters players have been using like Vision, freeing him up for other team synergies. She lights up enemies with explosive Area of Effect attacks, Ability Block, Defense Down, and always gains an Assist from Iron Man on her Basic attack.

Launch an airstrike with the Power Armor prodigy:

Black and Ebony

The Black and Ebony Legendary Event is just around the corner, so continue powering up Black Bolt and the rest of the Inhuman team you’ll need to join the adventure. Take special note of Tier 6 -- here you’ll get first-hand experience playing with a full Black Order team. This tier doesn’t require Black Bolt and Inhumans to play, but DOES require you beat Tier 5 and unlock Ebony Maw. Feel the power of Thanos’s complete Infinity Gauntlet! The character requirements will continue on in Tier 7, which requires 6-star versions of the appropriate characters.

The Power Up Event festivities continue this week with Re-Energize. On May 26, 5PM (PDT), the cost to refresh your Campaign Energy will not go above 50 Power Cores, so save those Power Cores while you grab resources from Campaign nodes.

Upcoming Blitzes

Bows and brawn are on the Blitz menu this week, so be sure to clear your plate. Up first is Sharpshooter Blitz, featuring character shards for Hawkeye. But you’re not done after hitting the bullseye there, because Cull Obsidian, the Black Order axeman, is back for his second appearance in the Dwarf Star Blitz. Cut through enemies and add this ruthless Protector to your roster.

Until next time…

Good luck, Commander!
