Flex the might of your roster by conquering the all-new Cosmic Crucible!


The Living Tribunal seeks to restore the balance of the multiverse and will judge all Commanders with a series of trials. Face off against seven other Commanders in tournament-style play in a quest to overwhelm the defenses of your enemies. For your efforts, the Living Tribunal will handsomely reward participants with Teal gear.


Arriving over the course of this release:

• New Cosmic Crucible game mode: Compete against other Commanders in a recurring bracket style tournament that requires you to defeat your opponent's defensive rooms while you defend your own. Earn Crucible Credits that can be used to purchase rewards in the new Cosmic Crucible Store

• Enhance your roster with 5 new playable characters: Gambit, Spider-Woman, Nico Minoru, Fantomex, and Dazzler

• Ability and Stat improvements for Captain Marvel, Jessica Jones

• Ability updates for Black Panther, M'Baku, Okoye, Shuri, and Killmonger related to Cosmic Crucible

• Health Stat increases for A.I.M. Infector, Bullseye, Hand Blademaster, Hand Assassin, Hand Archer, Vision, Doctor Strange, Pyro, Rocket Raccoon, Star-Lord, Yoyo, Crystal, and Quake

• New costumes: Mordo - Multiverse of Madness, Wong - Sorcerer Supreme, and Ms. Marvel - No Normal

• Assemble a top squad with the limited-time "Debonair" trait for Fantomex's Event Campaign: To X a Thief

• A-Force of Nature - Participate in select events during the month of May to recruit Spider-Woman

• Store Update: Allowed the multi-opening option for more select orbs including Blitz Store

• Inbox Update: Claim All button added for messages with rewards attached. Also added the ability for players to see what rewards they claimed from inbox messages - claimed rewards were previously not visible.

• Roster Update: Lowered the Commander Level restriction from level 40 to level 30 for the Equip All functionality for gear

• Email Opt-in: Opt in for email updates and receive free rewards. Check out the Offers tray in the Store to opt in

• Dark Health Update: The capacity limit for Dark Health Packs has been increased from 100 to 250

• New Alliance icons added

• Avenger Tower Improvement: You can now filter characters "not on cooldown"


Bugs

• Text Fix: The description for Drax's Ultimate ability, "Good Fighting," was missing that it can't be counterattacked. The combat behavior is correct and remains unchanged.

• Text Fix: The description for Doctor Voodoo's Ultimate ability, "Soul Manipulation," was missing that it can't be counterattacked. The combat behavior is correct and remains unchanged.

• Dormammu's Passive ability, "The Dread One," was always lowering Cosmic Brawler Assist chance by -100% regardless of his Health value. The Passive ability text has been updated to match the current behavior.

• Text Update: The description for Dormammu's Special ability, "Dark Rain," was missing that he only applies Stun for 1 turn. The combat behavior is correct and remains unchanged.

• Game mode tabs were being visually obstructed when device notches were positioned on the right side of the screen.

• When selecting a Saved Squad in Avengers Tower, the Blitz Saved Squad teams were displayed even though the Roster tab was selected by default.

• Chat Fixes: The option to paste text into Chat and text wrapping functionality have been restored.

• The in-game Chat cursor was difficult to see and move.

• Dark Phoenix was not attacking and applying Defense Down to enemies on Spawn if Phoenix was eliminated with Bleed.

Basic - Jaw Breaker

Old:

  • Attack primary target for 220% damage + 50% chance to Bonus attack 1-2 times for 170% damage.
  • Generate 1 Ability Energy for self or a random DEFENDER ally.
  • Each attack has a 50% chance to generate 1 Ability Energy for self or a random ally.

New:

  • Attack primary target for 220% damage + 50% chance to Bonus Attack 1-2 times for 170% damage.
  • Generate 1 Ability Energy for a random DEFENDER or A-FORCE ally or self that was not at full energy.
  • Each attack has a 50% chance to generate 1 Ability Energy for self or a random ally.

 

Special - Shake it Off

Old:

  • Clear all negative effects from self and all allies.
  • Generate 1 Ability Energy for each DEFENDER ally. Generate 4 Ability Energy for random allies.

New:

  • Clear all negative effects from self and all allies.
  • Generate 1 Ability Energy for each DEFENDER or A-FORCE ally. Generate 4 Ability Energy for random allies.
  • Barrier self and all A-FORCE allies for 20% of this character's Max Health. Barrier all other allies for 10% of this character's Max Health.
  • Apply +1 Defense Up, up to a max of 3 turns, to self and all A-FORCE allies.
  • Apply Immunity to self and all A-FORCE allies.

 

Ultimate - Rejection

Old:

  • Attack primary target for 400% damage + clear all positive effects.
  • Gain +100,000% Extra Focus for this attack

New:

  • Attack primary and adjacent targets for 400% damage + clear all positive effects.
  • Gain +100,000% Extra Focus for this attack.

 

Passive - Denial

Old:

  • Gain +40% Resistance.
  • DEFENDER allies gain +40% Resistance.
  • Additional CITY allies gain +20% Resistance.
  • Other additional allies gain +15% Resistance.

New:

  • Gain +10% Max Health. A-FORCE allies gain +10% Max Health.
  • Gain +40% Armor. A-FORCE allies gain +40% Armor.
  • Gain +40% Resistance. DEFENDER and A-FORCE allies gain +40% Resistance.
  • Additional CITY allies gain +20% Resistance.
  • Other additional allies gain +15% Resistance.
  • On WAR OFFENSE: On Spawn, fill Speed Bar by 5% + 5% Speed Bar per A-FORCE ally.

Captain Marvel

Base stat increases

  • Health +34%
  • Damage +28%
  • Armor +47%
  • Focus +16%
  • Resist +16%

 

Old:

Passive - Higher. Further. Faster

  • While in Binary gain: 25% Damage, 25% Armor, 100% Focus, and 100% Resistance. While in Binary, on End of Turn, attack all enemies for 150% damage.
  • On Spawn: Clear all Charged. If any Charged were cleared, gain Regeneration
  • On Spawn: Gain Charged
  • On Spawn:If at least one ally is MILITARY, gain an additional Charged
  • MILITARY allies gain +15% Max Health.
  • MILITARY allies gain +10% Damage.
  • If not in Binary, when this character gains Ability Energy, gain +1 Charged, up to a maximum of 5.
  • On Turn, heal self for 20% of Max Health.

 

New:

  • While in Binary: Gain 25% Damage, 25% Armor, 100% Focus, and 100% Resistance.
  • While in Binary: On End of Turn, attack all enemies for 150% damage + clear all Evade.
  • While in Binary:In WAR, if this character has 2 or more A-FORCE allies, this attack cannot be blocked or dodged.
  • On Turn, heal for 20% of this character's Max Health.
  • On Spawn: Clear all Charged. If any Charged were cleared, gain Regeneration
  • On Spawn:Gain Charged
  • On Spawn: If at least one ally is MILITARY, gain an additional Charged
  • Gain +10% Max Health.
  • A-FORCE allies gain +10% Max Health.

Black Panther

Base stat increases

  • Health stat by 154%
  • Damage stat by 45%
  • Armor stat by 12%
  • Focus stat by 53%
  • Resist stat by 21%

 

Basic - Claw Slash

Old:

  • Attack primary target for 210% damage + 30% Piercing + apply Slow.

New:

  • Attack primary target for 210% damage + 30% Piercing + apply Slow and Bleed.

 

Special - Hunter's Spirit

Old:

  • Attack primary target for 230% damage + 30% Piercing.
  • Gain Offense Up for 2 turns. On Crit, gain Counter

New:

  • Attack primary target for 230% damage + 30% Piercing.
  • Apply Offense Up for 2 turns to self and all WAKANDAN allies.
  • On Crit, apply 2 Counter to self and all WAKANDAN allies.
  • If this character has 2 or more WAKANDAN allies, this attack gains +100% Crit Chance.

 

Ultimate - Panther Rush

Old:

  • Attack primary target for 280% damage. Chain to 1-3 adjacent targets for 200% damage. Counterattack breaks this Chain.
  • While in Charged, instead attack all enemies for 250% damage, then lose all Charged. This attack gains +20% Damage per Charged.
  • All attacks have +30% Piercing and +20% Extra Crit Chance.

New:

  • Attack primary target for 280% damage. Chain to 1-3 adjacent targets for 200% damage.
  • Counterattack breaks this Chain.
  • While Charged, instead attack all enemies for 280% damage. This attack gains +40% Damage per Charged.
  • In CRUCIBLE, if this character has 4 or more Charged, fill Speed Bar by 30% for self and all WAKANDAN allies.
  • Lose all Charged.
  • All attacks have +30% Piercing and +20% Extra Crit Chance.
  • If this character has 4 or more WAKANDAN allies, this attack cannot be dodged.

 

Passive - Defender of Wakanda

Old:

  • On dropping below 50% of Max Health, gain +1 Charged, up to a maximum of 5.
  • On Kill, fill Speed Bar by 100%.
  • On Defense Up, gain Deflect.

New:

  • On attacked, gain +1 Charged, up to a maximum of 5.
  • On Kill, fill Speed Bar by 100%.
  • On Defense Up, gain Deflect and Regeneration.
  • In CRUCIBLE, while Charged, gain 15% Damage and 50% Drain for self and all WAKANDAN allies.

M'Baku

Base stat increases

  • Health +29%
  • Damage +38%
  • Armor +25%
  • Focus +68%
  • Resist +57%

 

Special - Call of the Mountain

Old:

  • Gain Taunt + 2 Counter. Gain +2 Charged, up to a maximum of 5.

New:

  • Gain Taunt for 2 turns.
  • Apply 2 Counter to self and all Wakandan allies..
  • Gain +2 Charged, up to a maximum of 5.
  • Apply Defense Up for 2 turns to self and all WAKANDAN allies

 

Ultimate - Jabari Avalanche

Old:

  • Attack primary target and all adjacent targets for 320% damage. On Kill, Chain to target adjacent to primary and attack that target and all adjacent targets for 320% damage.
  • On Defense Up, Heal for 15% of Max Health. If already at Max Health, gain +1 Defense Up.

New:

  • Attack primary target and all adjacent targets for 320% damage + apply +1 Vulnerable, up to a maximum of 3.
  • Chain to target adjacent to primary and attack that target and all adjacent targets for 320% damage + apply +1 Vulnerable, up to a maximum of 3, if any of the previous targets resisted the previous attack.
  • Apply +2 Charged, up to a maximum of 5, to self and all WAKANDAN allies.
  • Counterattack does not break this Chain.

 

Passive - Ancestral Might

Old:

  • While Charged, gain +100% Block Chance and +50% Block Amount.
  • On Block, lose 1 Charged.
  • In RAIDS, on Block, Heal for 10% of Max Health.
  • In RAIDS gain +25% Block chance.

New:

  • On Defense Up, Heal for 15% of Max Health. If already at Max Health, gain +1 Defense Up.
  • If Charged, when a WAKANDAN ally drops below 50% Health, clear all negative effects on this character, gain +1 Taunt, up to a maximum of 3, and lose 1 Charged.
  • Gain +25% Block chance.
  • While Charged, gain an additional +100% Block Chance and +50% Block Amount.
  • On Block, lose 1 Charged and Heal for 10% of Max Health.
  • In CRUCIBLE, if this character has 2 or more WAKANDAN allies, Lower Armor by 30% for all enemies with Vulnerable.

Okoye

Base stat increases

  • Health +84%
  • Damage +45%
  • Armor +95%
  • Focus +84%
  • Resist +21%

 

Basic - Spear Strike

Old:

  • Attack primary target for 200% damage + clear a positive effect.
  • Gain +50% Extra Focus for this attack.

New:

  • Attack primary target for 200% damage + clear 2 positive effects.
  • Gain +50% Extra Focus for this attack.

 

Special - Precision Strike

Old:

  • Attack primary target for 220% damage + apply Defense Down. Chain to 1 adjacent target for 190% damage.
  • Counterattack breaks this Chain.

New:

  • Attack primary target for 220% damage + apply Defense Down for 1 turn and Offense Down for 2 turns.
  • Chain to 4 adjacent targets for 190% damage.
  • In CRUCIBLE, reduce Speed Bar of all targets with Immunity by 35%.
  • Counterattack breaks this Chain.

 

Ultimate - Aerial Impalement

Old:

  • Gain Offense Up.
  • Attack primary target for 280% Piercing + reduce Speed Bar by 50%.

New:

  • Gain Offense Up.
  • Attack primary target for 320% Piercing + reduce Speed Bar by 50%.
  • This attack gains +40% Damage per Charged.
  • In CRUCIBLE, clear Revive Once from the primary target. This attack cannot be resisted.
  • In CRUCIBLE, if this character has 4 or more Charged, gain 3 Ability Energy.
  • This attack ignores Defense Up and cannot be dodged.

 

Passive - Dora Milaje

Old:

  • Gain +50% Piercing. On Defense Up, gain Immunity.
  • On self or WAKANDAN ally Crit, gain +1 Charged, up to a maximum of 5.
  • On WAKANDAN ally's turn, while in Charged, gain Assist Now and lose 1 Charged. Otherwise, 20% chance to gain Assist Now.

New:

  • On Defense Up, gain Immunity. In CRUCIBLE, apply Immunity to all WAKANDAN allies.
  • On self or WAKANDAN ally Crit, gain +1 Charged, up to a maximum of 5.
  • On WAKANDAN ally's turn, gain Assist Now.
  • Gain +50% Piercing.
  • In CRUCIBLE, while Charged, and if this character has 4 or more WAKANDAN allies:
  • > Lower Damage by 15% for all enemies.
  • > Gain 20% Speed for self and all WAKANDAN allies.
  • > Lower Drain by 50% for all enemies.

Shuri

Base stat increases

  • Health +50%
  • Damage +45%
  • Armor +46%
  • Focus +31%
  • Resist +21%

 

Basic - Vibranium Gauntlets

Old:

  • Attack primary target and all adjacent targets for 200% damage. Apply Heal Block to primary target for 2 turns.

New:

  • Attack primary target and all adjacent targets for 300% damage. Apply Heal Block to primary target for 2 turns.

 

Special - Instant Upgrade

Old:

  • Apply Defense Up to self and all allies for 2 turns.
  • Apply +1 Charged, up to a maximum of 5, to self and all WAKANDAN allies.
  • Generate Ability Energy for 2 random allies. Generate Ability Energy for 1 random WAKANDAN ally.

New:

  • Apply Defense Up to self and all allies for 2 turns.
  • Apply +1 Charged, up to a maximum of 5, to self and all WAKANDAN allies.
  • Generate Ability Energy for 2 random allies. Generate Ability Energy for 4 random WAKANDAN ally.

 

Passive - Wakanda Forever

Old:

  • On Spawn, apply Speed Up to self and all WAKANDAN allies.
  • On Turn, heal the most injured ally for 10% of this character's Max Health. While in Charged, heal an additional most injured ally for 10% of this character's Max Health and lose 1 Charged.
  • On Defense Up, generate Ability Energy for self.
  • In RAIDS, self and all WAKANDAN allies gain +40% Max Health. In RAIDS, self and all WAKANDAN allies gain +20% Armor.
  • In RAIDS, when self or any ally drops below 50% Max Health, gain 3 Deflect.

New:

  • On Spawn, apply Speed Up to self and all WAKANDAN allies.
  • On Turn, heal the most injured ally for 10% of this character's Max Health. While in Charged, heal an additional most injured ally for 10% of this character's Max Health and lose 1 Charged.

  • Attack primary target for 300% damage. Chain to all adjacent targets for 240% damage.
  • On Crit, attack all enemies for 200% damage and lose Charged. Otherwise, gain +1 Charged up to a maximum of 5.
  • Counterattack breaks this Chain.

New:

  • Attack primary target for 300% damage. Chain to all adjacent targets for 240% damage.
  • On Crit, attack all enemies for 200% damage and lose Charged. Otherwise, gain +1 Charged up to a maximum of 5.
  • Counterattack breaks this Chain.
  • In CRUCIBLE, Rebound Chain to 7 adjacent targets instead.
