Spin up victory with Red Hulk's Horseman of Apocalypse War Scourge Event, the first run of Rogue's Famine Saga, and MARVEL Strike Force's original character Spider-Weaver.

  • New War Scourge Event: Power up your Hero Asgardians, Ravagers, and Wave-1 - Avengers to earn character shards for Apocalypse's fiery third Horseman, Red Hulk, which you will need with the full Gamma team to eventually unlock Apocalypse
  • New Famine Saga - Complete the Famine Saga to earn Awakened Ability Materials, Blue T2 Level 5 Iso-8, and an exclusive "Famine" costume for Apocalypse's energy-draining second Horseman, Rogue

Bug Fixes

  • When Gambit's Bonus Attack eliminated an enemy, the ability didn't end properly and was incorrectly performing a second Bonus Attack.
  • For A.I.-controlled enemies, Adam Warlock's Special Ability, "Enfeebling Blast," was not applying Disrupted to the correct targets.
  • When Stunned, Magik wasn't summoning a Dark Phoenix after Phoenix or Dark Phoenix was eliminated from battle.
  • Sound effects were not playing during all of Morgan Le Fay's Pestilence abilities.
  • Character weapons would sometimes temporarily disappear when entering the Iso-8 Chamber.
  • The On Spawn Taunt of an enemy was sometimes forcing players to target enemy characters who didn't possess Taunt.
  • Rebound Chain attacks were incorrectly ending early after eliminating an enemy.
  • A Saga in Preview mode could be played early when accessing the Saga through the Find Button.


Character Updates

Green Goblin

Base Stat Increases:

  • Health +15%
  • Damage +40%
  • Armor +20%
  • Focus +60%
  • Resist +25%


Special - Burning Rage

Old:

  • Attack a random target with Stealth for 450% damage.
  • If no targets have Stealth, attack primary target instead.
  • Deal 50% additional damage per positive effect on the target.


New:

  • Attack the most injured enemy with Stealth for 480% damage + Bonus Attack that target for 500% damage.
  • If no targets have Stealth, attack primary target instead for 480% damage.
  • Attacks deal 50% additional damage per positive effect on the target.
  • Characters killed by this attack cannot be revived.
  • This attack is unavoidable and cannot be Blocked.


Ultimate - Fire and Brimstone

Old:

  • Attack primary target for 290% damage.
  • Attack 3-4 random targets for 290% damage.


New:

  • Attack primary target for 330% damage.
  • Attack 5 random targets for 330% damage.


Passive - Cauterize

Old:

  • On any SPIDER-VERSE ally's turn, choose 2 random enemies. If they have a positive effect, remove 1.
  • On Spawn, apply Defense Down to the enemy with the most Resistance. If that enemy is S.H.I.E.L.D., apply Defense Down for 2 turns. This attack cannot be resisted.
  • Gain 20% Max Health


New:

  • On any SPIDER-VERSE or UNDERWORLD ally's turn, remove 1 positive effect from 2 random enemies that have a positive effect but does not have Safeguard. On WAR OFFENSE, if Mister Negative is an ally, gain +350% Extra Focus for this action.
  • On Spawn, apply Defense Down for 2 turns to the enemy with the most Resistance. This attack cannot be resisted.
  • On WAR OFFENSE, if Mister Negative is an ally, on Spawn, apply Defense Down to all enemies. If an enemy is Mystic, apply Defense Down for 2 turns. This attack cannot be resisted.
  • Gain +20% Max Health.
  • On WAR OFFENSE, gain 30% Armor for self and UNDERWORLD allies.


Taskmaster

Base Stat Increases

  • Health +20%
  • Damage +30%
  • Armor +15%
  • Focus +10%


Basic - Imitating Strike

Note - The change to the Basic Ability is actually just the improved damage. The 2nd bullet is modernized rewording for clarity.


Old:

  • Attack primary target for 250% damage + steal 3 positive effects.


New:

  • Attack primary target for 300% damage.
  • Transfer 3 positive effects, excluding Taunt, from primary target to self.


Special - Adaptive Assault

Old:

  • Attack primary target for 330% damage + apply Stun.
  • Rebound chain to 3 additional targets for 280% damage + apply Offense Down.
  • Counterattack breaks this Chain.


New:

  • Attack primary target for 350% damage + apply Stun. This attack gains +300% Extra Focus.
  • Rebound chain to 3 additional targets for 300% damage + apply Offense Down.
  • Counterattack breaks this Chain.
  • If this character has 3 or more UNDERWORLD allies, this attack cannot be counterattacked.


Ultimate - Incendiary Arrow

Old:

  • Attack all enemies for 200% damage.
  • Apply Blind to primary target and 2 random secondary targets.
  • Apply Bleed for 2 turns to all enemies.
  • Bonus attack all targets with Bleed for 100% Piercing.
  • This attack is Unavoidable.


New:

  • Attack all enemies for 300% damage.
  • Apply Blind and Heal Block to primary target and 2 random secondary targets.
  • In WAR, instead, apply Blind and Heal Block to all enemies.
  • Apply Bleed for 2 turns to all enemies.
  • Bonus attack all targets with Bleed for 200% Piercing.
  • If this character has 3 or more non-summoned UNDERWORLD allies, gain +500% extra Focus for this ability.
  • This attack is Unavoidable.


Passive:

Old:

  • On Spawn, gain Offense Up for 2 turns.
  • Gain Assist Now on each MERCENARY VILLAIN ally's turn.
  • Gain +25% Block Chance. Gain +25% Block Amount.
  • Gain +20% chance to Counterattack + 20% per MERCENARY ally.
  • Gain +10% Damage per SKILL enemy.
  • Gain +15% Damage. MERCENARY VILLAIN allies gain +15% Damage.
  • On WAR DEFENSE:
  • On Spawn, fill Speed Bar for self and all MERCENARY VILLAIN allies by 10% + 10% per MERCENARY ally.
  • On turn, if this character has 2 or more MERCENARY VILLAIN allies, apply Taunt to enemy with highest Damage
  • This is unavoidable
  • Gain +10,000% Extra Focus for this
  • Assist allies on non-attack abilities.


New:

  • On Spawn, gain Offense Up for 2 turns.
  • Gain Assist Now on each MERCENARY VILLAIN or UNDERWORLD ally's turn.
  • Gain +25% Block Chance. Gain +25% Block Amount.
  • Gain +20% chance to Counterattack + 20% per MERCENARY or UNDERWORLD ally.
  • Gain +10% Damage per SKILL enemy.
  • Gain +30% Damage. MERCENARY VILLAIN or UNDERWORLD allies gain +30% Damage.

Basic - Batter

Old:

  • Attack primary target for 270% damage.
  • 50% chance to gain an Assist.


New:

  • Attack primary target for 270% damage.
  • If this character has 3 or more non-summoned UNDERWORLD allies, gain 15% Crit Chance + 15% Crit Chance for each non-summoned UNDERWORLD ally.
  • On Crit, Barrier self for 10% of this character's Max Health.
  • 50% chance to gain an Assist from a random ally.


Special - Crime Lord

Old:

  • Summon 2-3 Bodyguards at 340% normal damage and 100% of normal Health.
  • Bodyguard gains Taunt on self when Summoned.


New:

  • Summon 3 Bodyguards. Bodyguards gain Taunt and 2 Deathproof when Summoned.
  • On WAR OFFENSE, apply Safeguard to self and all UNDERWORLD allies.


Ultimate - Boss's Orders

Old:

  • Apply Defense Up to all allies for 2 turns.
  • Apply Offense Up to 5 allies.
  • 30% chance for Assist from allies (twice as likely to select a VILLAIN or MERCENARY for Assist).


New:

  • Apply Defense Up for 2 turns to self and all allies.
  • Apply Offense Up for 2 turns to self and all allies.
  • Gain an assist from a random Underworld ally.
  • Gain an assist from a random ally.


Passive - Mastermind

Old:

  • At the start of each VILLAIN ally's turn, 25% chance for an ally to gain Team Attack for that turn.


New:

  • On Spawn, summon a Bodyguard. Bodyguard gains Taunt and 2 Deathproof when Summoned.
  • On this character's or any VILLAIN ally's turn, 50% chance to apply Assist Now to self or a random ally.
  • At the end of this character's turn, if this character has Barrier, apply Speed Up and Offense Up to all Summoned allies.
  • On Attacked, fill this character's and all Summoned ally's Speed Bars by 20%.
  • Gain 60% Focus. UNDERWORLD allies gain 60% Focus.
  • Gain 60% Resistance. UNDERWORLD allies gain 60% Resistance.

Old:

  • Attack primary target for 310% damage + 70% chance to gain Stealth for 1 turn.
  • +40% chance to gain assist from HAND ally.


New:

  • Attack primary target for 330% damage + apply Bleed.
  • Apply Stealth to self and the most injured ally.
  • Gain assist from a random HAND or UNDERWORLD ally.


Special - Unseen Army

Old:

  • Summon 2-3 Hand Ninjas at 340% normal damage and 100% of normal Health.


New:

  • Summon 3 Hand Ninjas with Offense Up and Regeneration.
  • Clear all negative effects from self.
  • Possible Summons:
  • Hand Blademaster
  • Hand Archer


Ultimate - Ready the Trap

Old:

  • Gain 2 Counter + apply 1-2 Counter to all allies.


New:

  • Apply 2 Counter to self and all allies.
  • Apply 2 Deflect to self and all allies.
  • On WAR OFFENSE, apply 2 Deathproof to self and all allies.


Passive - Secrets of Death

Old:

  • HAND allies get a +10% chance to Revive on Death with 20% Health.
  • Non-Hand allies get a +5% chance to Revive on Death with 15% Health.


New:

  • All HAND and UNDERWORLD allies gain 10% chance to Revive with 20% of Max Health.
  • All other allies gain 5% chance to Revive with 15% of Max Health.
  • On WAR OFFENSE:
  • If this character, any HAND ally, or any UNDERWORLD ally has Counter, those characters gain +50% Crit Chance.
  • If this character, any HAND ally, or any UNDERWORLD ally has Stealth, those characters gain +20% Crit Damage.

Hand Blademaster

Base Stat Increases

  • Health +36%
  • Damage +20%
  • Armor +40%

Rogue - Awakened Abilities

Mega Punch - level 7:

  • Clear all Barrier on the primary target + attack for 300% damage.
  • If primary target did not have Barrier, Bonus Attack for 300% damage.


Mega Punch - level 8:

  • Clear all Barrier on the primary target + attack for 300% damage.
  • If primary target did not have Barrier, Bonus Attack for 300% damage.
  • If this character has 1 or more HORSEMAN or Apocalypse allies, always Bonus Attack for 300% damage + gain 25% Crit Chance for each HORSEMAN or Apocalypse ally for this attack.


Southern Hospitality - level 5

  • On Spawn, apply Defense Up for 2 turns to Self and all UNLIMITED X-MEN allies.
  • In CRUCIBLE, apply Safeguard to Self and all UNLIMITED X-MEN allies.
  • On Turn, Heal for 10% of this character's Max Health.
  • At the end of this character's turn, gain Defense Up.
  • When an X-MEN ally drops below 50% Max Health, gain Taunt for 2 turns.
  • When this character drops below 50% Health, clear Taunt from self (Safeguard prevents Taunt from being able to be cleared).
  • Gain +30% Max Health.
  • Gain +25% Damage. UNLIMITED X-MEN allies gain +25% Damage.
  • Gain +10% Drain per UNLIMITED X-MEN ally. UNLIMITED X-MEN allies gain +10% Drain per UNLIMITED X-MEN ally.
  • While this character has Deathproof, gain +100% Resistance.
  • Clones of this character have reduced Max Health and Speed than standard Clones and they cannot reach maximum Ability Levels.


Southern Hospitality - level 6

  • On Spawn, apply Defense Up for 2 turns to Self and all UNLIMITED X-MEN allies.
  • In CRUCIBLE, apply Safeguard to Self and all UNLIMITED X-MEN allies.
  • On Turn, Heal for 10% of this character's Max Health.
  • At the end of this character's turn, gain Defense Up.
  • When an X-MEN ally drops below 50% Max Health, gain Taunt for 2 turns.
  • When this character drops below 50% Health, clear Taunt from self (Safeguard prevents Taunt from being able to be cleared).
  • Gain +30% Max Health.
  • Gain +25% Damage. UNLIMITED X-MEN allies gain +25% Damage. Apocalypse and all HORSEMAN allies gain +25% Damage.
  • Gain +10% Drain per UNLIMITED X-MEN ally. UNLIMITED X-MEN allies gain +10% Drain per UNLIMITED X-MEN ally.
  • While this character has Deathproof, gain +100% Resistance.
  • Clones of this character and all HORSEMAN and Apocalypse allies have reduced Max Health and Speed compared to standard Clones and they cannot reach maximum Ability Levels.
